What to Do When Your Faith Is Challenged
Published in Paperback by Harrison House, Incorporated (May, 2000)
Author: Leroy, Dr., Sr Thompson
Average review score:

Now, I know how to STAND in Faith!
This book has changed my life. I had entered a season in my walk with God when my prayers were not being answered as quickly as they were when I had first received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I began to get depressed and wondered what was wrong. Through this anointed book, Dr. Thompson helped me to identify the source of the problem, the promises of God where standing in faith is concerned, and how to stand in the authority that I already have as a Christian. I also received correction from this book, as Dr. Thompson, in a gentle, humorous way, shared the roles Christians often play in delaying the manifestation of answered prayer. This is one of those books that I'll be reading over and over! This is a MUST READ FOR THE MATURE AND MATURING CHRISTIAN.

What's the Difference: Gray Liberal Mush or Vivid Conservative Facts
Published in Paperback by Trafford (December, 2002)
Author: Mike Thompson
Average review score:

Packed With Interesting Facts
As someone who came of age politically listening to and watching Mike Thompson on Southeast Florida television and radio, I was pleasantly surprised to see he had written a book. Mr. Thompson's talk shows and commentaries were definitely instrumental in helping me explore my own political values and form my own political beliefs as a college student and as a young Republican activist.

I had an opportunity to meet Mr. Thompson and have lunch with him about 15 years ago before moving back to North Florida. Knowing that he posesses one of the most brilliant minds in Florida politics, I eagerly awaited my copy of the book and I was not disappointed!

The best part of this book is that you can read it through cover to cover OR you can read parts of it here and there. Just jump in and you will be bombarded with informative facts and opinions about a wide variety of issues. This makes the book not only a great read but an excellent reference tool.

As the Republican State Committeeman in Nassau County Florida, I will eagerly be recommending this publication to my friends in politics. You probably won't agree with everything Mike Thompson has to say (no one can agree with everything anyone has to say) but you will definitely appreciate his wit and wisdom. I am glad to see that Mr. Thompson has not faded into the sunset!

Adorable Children's or Collectors' Book
This book is full of delightful pictures and follows the pony Lickety Split as she searches for Baby Cuddles, who is avoiding nap time. There's no particular moral to the story, but its fun for little ones to pull the flaps on the pictures and see what surprises are inside. Collectors will be more than pleased with the book as it features 12 pages of beautiful illustrations of your favorite original pony friends including Lickety Split, Spike, Sparkler, Dream Castle, Cuddles, and other Baby Ponies.

Whigs and Hunters
Published in Paperback by Penguin Uk ()
Author: E P Thompson
Average review score:

A very serious study of natural resource policy
This book has influenced an entire series of books on understanding the evolution of natural resource policy and culture. It is especially important in understanding the development of laws and policy about wildlife. It is, to use a worn-out phrase, a seminal work.

This book is not for casual reading at all. In fact it is a difficult and very scholarly treatment of a period in English history that has repercussions into present day policy in the United States.

Who's Afraid of the Old Testament God?
Published in Paperback by Zondervan (November, 1989)

Average review score:

An inspiring book, extremely helpful in understanding the OT
Thompson shows how the horror of the OT can be reconciled with the grace of the NT, while maintaining its historical context and purpose. Recommended for all who find the stories of the OT unsettling and believe in an eternal and unchanging God throughout history.

Wild Bananas

Author: Sandra Thompson
Average review score:

Storyline ....
Since Amazon didn't provide an editorial review for this book, here's the description from the flyleaf to help you decide if this book is for you: From the flyleaf: "Wild Bananas is the story of a brief marriage of the Feldmans, Barry and Baby (formerly Salina Jane). He is a halfhearted law student at the Appalachia School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama; she, who once majored in Sartre and Camus, is investigating old-age homes for the Department of Relief and Security. Barry and Baby had a whirlwind courtship in Miami based on their mutual enthusiasm for jazz. In Birmingham they drink bourbon and Kool-Aid and lie naked for hours on blue sheets. But the passion Baby feels for Barry is soon in the doldrums. An adulterous misadventure is followed by an assertion of independence that surprises Baby even more than the husband she leaves behind. This is a memorable first novel by a writer whose deliciously laconic voice is both evocative and acidly funny."

love story
I liked this story because Rebekah proves to be a very strong and determined individual in having to overcome her internal struggles. Many of the situations described seemed to be very realistic and I'm not ashamed to say I cried right along with her!
